Dear Menlo Park Academy of Dance Families,
Hoping this finds you healthy and safe, and adjusting well to the continuous changes and challenges in our community. We very much appreciate your continued support of our Zoom classes to keep your student engaged and actively enjoying their dance.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we must postpone the “Dance Festival” broadcast for a few weeks. Costume orders placed at the beginning of February have been slow to arrive, or even cancelled, because of shutdowns in production and delayed shipping by the manufacturers due to the pandemic. This in turn has had an effect on the production of our video “Dance Festival 2020”.
We will now present “Dance Festival” on SATURDAY JULY 18TH at 2PM. It will also be broadcast at a later date in AUGUST 2020, and a flash drive will be available of the entire production! The faculty and I have very much enjoyed working on the “Dance Festival” videos with your students and are thrilled with the results and enthusiasm for the online performance.
Please watch your mail for further communication and details for viewing the “Dance Festival” on July 18th. Do not hesitate to contact the office via email should you have any questions. Nearer the time, you will be receiving the Zoom link and a performance order of the “Dance Festival” so that you may plan your viewing. We apologize for the change of date and appreciate your understanding.
Classes continue though SATURDAY JUNE 27TH.
We have Summer classes from July 6th-August 1st and will be implementing the start of a hybrid model with classes taken IN PERSON or via ZOOM – your choice. The schedule is available online at www.menloparkacademyofdance.
Fall classes are scheduled to start on August 17th – details TBD.
